Storiel have recently commissioned local artist Llyr Erddyn Davies to design a sculpture which highlights the rich history of North Wales, as well as the offering of Storiel Museum. Painting and Poems Workshop
12 - 15 August 2025Art and poetry workshop under the care of Elin Alaw. Come and illustrate a piece of the history of the Gwynedd quarrying area, in this mixed media workshop. There will be an opportunity to discuss the form and quality of an old quarryman's tin, and then experiment with charcoal and watercolour to bring life to our images. Finally, we will incorporate Glan Tecwyn's poem into our work. This two-hour session, suitable for children aged 8 and older, is open to all parents, who are also welcome to participate. No prior experience in creating art is required. Limited numbers, so please book your place in advance.
