LLiFT is an inclusive community group giving individuals the opportunity to play or just experience freely improvised ensemble music on a regular basis in Bangor North Wales and to explore wider interdisciplinary approaches to experimental music making.
LLif(T) is proud to present another in its ongoing series of innovative and experimental music sessions, featuring the incredibly talented performer John Bisset
The aim of the project is to pilot how schools can more easily access national collections – and how galleries that are part of the CELF network might help facilitate that. This project offers one model of working. Storiel and Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw have worked with two primary schools – Ysgol Garnedd (Bangor) and Ysgol Cymerau (Pwllheli) respectively, the artist Luned Rhys Parri and Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales.
Join us at STORIEL for an opportunity to meet Sian, to explore her materials from ash to rice, and to handle some of her ceramic pieces.
Joshua Gardner is a Californian native that has been living in Bnagor and has learnt welsh. His musical project Pioden (Magpie) is a vibrant mix of protest folk and punk that has wowed audiences and built up a loyal following . Come down to Storiel's Cafe for an interesting afternoon of turbo chaged troubadour music.
Half Term fun for the whole family with the renound artist and designer Mr Kobo as he creates vibrant art that reacts to the museums art and artifact collection on Slate disks.
Responding to the previous week's Tyrchu Sain session, the renowned rapper, producer and beat boxer Mr Phormula will dig deep through the vast Sain records back catalouge to create new Hip Hop compositions. By incorporating voice, samples, remixes Mr Phormula will weave a sonic soup that will make for an afternoon of amazing music
