Don’t miss an opportunity to see artist Jane Evans dspalying the Japanese printing technique Gyotaku at Storiel, the Musueum of Gwynedd from 11:30 until 1:30 on June the 8th
The Gyotaku method has been used in Japan since 1862 and its a unique way of documenting sealife by painting a layer of inc on the flesh of the creature and wrapping it in material.
Jane Evans has established a studio in Menai Bridge since 2013 and has displayed her work internaionally and this is an opportunity to see the artist at work shocasing this unique printing technique .
