Join us in an exciting project to create artwork by local social history work alongisde artist Rachel Evans to create sculpture and textiles for an exhibition to commemorate the efforts of Merched Cor Y Penrhyn to support the families of Dyffryn Ogwen during the Great Quarry Strikes of 1900-1903. This is an opportunity to socialise with others interested in art and local history in a welcoming and creative environment. These sessions will be bilingual so will be a good chance to practice your language skills if you are a Welsh learner. Tea/ coffee/ biscuits provided

These sessions will use the slate work museum pieces and social history to inspire sculpture and textiles. There will be some basic drawing, clay work with self-dry clay and some textiles involved
