Having been part of acclaimed acts such as Rouge Jones, Bitw and the faux band Saron. Mari Morgan presents her début Chwaer Fawr to critical acclaim. A mixture of catchy lo-fi pop and future anthems, Chwaer Fawr is a collection of songs that explores the tension between innocence and responsibility, between personal vulnerability and silent resistance. It hints at the duality between the wonder of motherhood and the anxiety of the modern world, intertwining themes of peace, hope, and the need to excel. The compositions are peppered with symbols of freedom, fragility and defiance. The album does not seek a resolution, but offers a space to coexist with discomfort, wonder and change.

13 June 2026Join Professor Nathan Abrams (Bangor University) for the launch of Jews in the Welsh Imagination: From Medieval Times to the Present. This groundbreaking new book uncovers how Wales has imagined, represented, and engaged with Jews, Judaism, and Jewishness across more than eight centuries. From medieval poetry and early modern missionary zeal to twentieth‑century geopolitics and contemporary debates on identity and nationhood, Abrams reveals a hidden but powerful thread running through Welsh cultural history. Challenging assumptions and opening new conversations, this is a major new account of Wales’s complex relationship with Jewishness.
