Exhibition Opens 12 noon, Saturday 4th July – all welcome.
Toria Cameron is a visual artist whose practice bridges contemporary textile craft and fine art. Inspired by the Welsh landscape, she explores ideas of place, belonging and cynefin—the deep connection between people and their environment. Engaging with the landscape through all her senses, she observes the rhythms and patterns formed where nature and human influence meet. Her delicate, yet structured textiles emerge as tactile responses to these encounters.
Blending ancient and contemporary techniques, Toria combines hand-painting, airbrushing and hand-stitching. Her work is influenced by the Korean patchwork tradition of Pojagi, merging a love of stained glass aesthetics with her skills in textile construction.
