Saving Treasures, Telling Stories Project – is a community archaeology project working with community groups to help interpret their collections and bring them closer to their collective past. Saving Treasures is a partnership between Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, the Welsh Museums Federation and the Portable Antiquities Scheme in Wales (PAS Cymru), and is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Bert Isaac (1923-2006)
05 July - 27 September 2025Bert Isaac, painter, illustrator, printmaker and inspirational art teacher, was born in Pontypridd, South Wales, in 1923. He was a prolific landscape painter, and favoured places that showed evidence of past human activity and industry, such as Dorothea Quarry.
