Organised by the Friends of Storiel, each talk offers a different perspective on women’s involvement in peace movements, activism, and the stories that history often overlooks.
Yr Apêl Today: Continuing the Journey to Peace
14 June 2025Join us at Storiel for a day of Peace — a day of creativity and reflection inspired by the Women’s Peace Petition. The event includes a morning stitching workshop with artist Bethan Hughes, where we’ll make symbolic envelopes of peace, followed by an afternoon gathering led by Linda Rogers with Carrie Pester — a gentle, worshipful space to reflect, share, and continue the journey of peace together. Bring your own lunch, and if you fancy a treat, coffee and cake will be available to buy in the café.
